This is rapidly going further to where even traditional journalism and news is becoming crowdsourced, from on-the-spot reporting through filtering, preliminary writing, fact-checking, headline selection and layout, usually overseen by professionals

I think crowdsourcing is a huge deal and agree with Ross that it has the potential to radically alter many industries. I’ll be following today’s Future of Crowdsourcing Summit (via the #FOC10 Twitter hashtag) with great interest.
